Jennifer Thompson is a former elected official and successful businesswoman who currently serves as the President of Insight Marketing Group, a full-service healthcare marketing and advertising agency located in Orlando, Florida.

Thompson began her career in public service in 2006 when she was elected to the Orange County Commission, where she represented District 4 for two terms. During her tenure, she played a key role in expanding economic opportunities in the region and championed initiatives to promote small businesses, workforce development, and community engagement. She also worked to improve transportation infrastructure, enhance public safety, and protect the environment. She served on many high-level boards and had decision making authority on budgets exceeding $4 billion.

After leaving public office, Thompson turned her attention to entrepreneurship, expanding her healthcare marketing agency and building several other healthcare focused businesses. Under her guidance, Insight Marketing Group has become a highly innovative and respected healthcare marketing firm in Florida, offering a wide range of services including branding, digital marketing, public relations, and event planning for independent physician practices.

In addition to her work in business and politics, Thompson is also a dedicated community leader and philanthropist. She has served on the board of several non-profit organizations, including her local hospital board, the Orlando Orthopaedic Center Foundation and the American Cancer Society to name a few.

In 2015, she was named as the Orlando Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” Businesswoman of the Year, and in 2018, she was recognized as a “Woman of Distinction” by the Girl Scouts of Citrus Council.
